Oh man, the "low effort" excuse gets thrown around so much. I had the same thing happen when I posted a pic of a sidewalk that was literally crumbling into a construction site. They said it was "not relevant to the community" even though it was a main street downtown. What worked for me was I just started crossposting to our state sub and tagging the local mods there. Got way more traction and suddenly the local mods were like "oh we'll look into it" real fast lol. Sometimes you just gotta take the convo somewhere they can't delete it.
