Tried to put up a flyer for a debate on free speech and it took 3 weeks to get approval

The student activities office kept sending it back for 'tone review' and wanted me to change the title from 'Can We Still Debate?' to something less 'provocative'. Has anyone else had a simple flyer get stuck in admin purgatory?

My cousin's school club took a month to approve a bake sale flyer because the word "sweet" was in quotes.

That "month to approve a bake sale flyer" thing is too real. A friend of mine tried to put "home run" on a car wash sign for his kid's team and they made him change it to "very successful car wash" because "home run" could be seen as violent. I mean, come on. Makes you wonder what goes on in those meetings, right emerychen? It's like they forget the whole point is to sell some brownies or get a few cars clean.
