Question about a client's hairline after switching to a different trimmer guard

I used a #1 guard on my Andis T-Outliner for a client's edge-up for months, but his line always looked a little soft. Last week I tried the Wahl Detailer with its #0.5 guard and the difference in crispness was immediate. Anyone have a favorite tool for getting that super sharp line?

The real test is how it looks after a week. A super sharp line can grow out looking weird if the client's hair texture changes direction there.
