Vent: Called out a 'miracle' weight loss supplement and got booted from the group

I joined this fitness forum 3 years ago and kept seeing posts about this berry powder that supposedly melted fat. I called BS because the science didn't add up and asked for peer reviewed studies. The mods said I was being negative and banned me after I posted links showing the FTC had fined them $500k. Funny thing is 6 months later the whole group shut down when members started getting sick. Anyone else get silenced for questioning dangerous stuff?

Oh man that sucks but honestly not surprised lol. I remember when my cousin got real into some "detox tea" and told me it was gonna change her life. I asked to see the ingredients and she got all defensive. Turns out it was basically just laxatives and caffeine. She ended up in the ER with dehydration.

Detox tea" should really be called "pay the ER a visit" tea.
