Unpopular opinion: I refuse to use fake parts when customers ask.
Fake parts fail and hurt people.

See it more like some folks are just trying to save a buck without thinking it through... most aren't trying to hurt anyone, they just don't get the real risk.

How can you even look someone in the eye and ask for a part you know is fake? I get wanting to save money, I really do, but that just feels like a line you don't cross. It's not just about a part failing, it's about knowing you chose the risk on purpose. That's a heavy thing to live with if something goes wrong.
