Unpopular opinion: I stopped counting my repair tickets after 5,000 and started counting comebacks instead
I hit 5,000 repair tickets logged in my shop's system last month and honestly it did not feel like much. What got me was when I pulled the reports and saw 340 of those came back within 30 days for the same issue. That is almost 7 percent, and most of them were flat fixes on tubeless setups where I rushed the bead seat. Now I write the tire pressure and sealant date on the tag before the customer walks out, and my comebacks dropped to 40 in two months. Any of you track comeback rates by repair type, or is that just me being obsessive?
