Trying to find that show with the guy from the car commercial took me 45 minutes
I kept remembering this actor from an old truck ad, but couldn't place the show he was in, so I started searching through his filmography on my phone. It turned out he was in a short lived detective series from 2019 called 'Grey River' that only had one season. Has anyone else spent way too long tracking down a half remembered show like that?

I just search the ad's slogan online to find the actor.

Honestly that's way smarter than what I do. I'll be staring at the screen for ten minutes like 'I know your face from something... was it a movie? a show?' and then it hits me three days later in the shower. My search history is just a cry for help, lmao.

Oh man, I feel this so hard. Last week I wasted a whole lunch break trying to remember the name of that show about the hotel in space. I could picture the main guy's face perfectly, but my brain just would not cough up the title. Ended up searching "sci fi show hotel in space blonde actor" like a crazy person. It was "The Resort," and the relief was real, but I'm never getting that hour back. What's the weirdest search you've done to find a show?
