Serious question, has anyone else bought a game just for the minis?

I spent $90 on a Kickstarter game mostly for the cool monster figures, but the actual game rules are a mess. We played it twice and now it just sits on my shelf. What's a game you bought that looked great but played badly?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling. What was the game called? I'm always tempted by those big Kickstarter boxes with amazing minis. Did you at least end up using the monster figures for something else, like in a different tabletop game, or are they stuck in the box too?

That game was called "Mythic Mischief," and those minis are still in the box.
