I thought our club was just being nice when they picked my book suggestion, then Diane brought receipts
I figured it was pity that got my pick chosen back in March until Diane showed me the voting sheet at her place in Portland and I actually won 7 to 2, so now I want to know how your club picks books because ours clearly has been lying to me about the process.

Diane whipping out the receipts like she's on an episode of Judge Judy is sending me. My club just asks who wants to pick and whoever talks the loudest wins, so you're already doing better than us. Though part of me would want to see the old sheets too, just to know how many times I got pity votes.
