My book club's whole voting system fell apart last Thursday

We were picking our next read and the online poll crashed right as we hit 20 votes. Half the group saw one title winning, the other half saw a different one. I tried to fix it by switching to a show of hands on Zoom, but then the connection dropped for three people. Has anyone else had their club's tech fail during a big decision?

It's the same with everything now. We rely on this stuff for basic group decisions and it's never solid. Just sets up more arguments than it solves.
