Can we talk about why I stopped laying brick in the heat of the day
I was on a job in Tucson last July and watched a guy lay a whole course that looked fine until the mortar dried and every joint cracked, because it was 104 degrees and he would not slow down. Everyone on the crew swears you just add water and push through, but I start at 5am now and knock off by noon, and the work is better for it.

My uncle did the same pouring concrete, now he starts at 4.
