PSA: My line snapped and wrecked a whole day's work...
Was setting bricks for a foundation wall and the string just gave way... Now I'm rechecking every course from the start.

Rechecking every course from the start" sounds like the worst part. Was the line just old and rotten, or did something put unexpected tension on it? I'd be scared to trust any of my other lines now.
