inSpent a week sanding a table top smooth, only to find out I had the grain going the wrong way.
See that's where I disagree with @the_angela. Sometimes you gotta go against the grain a little on the final passes, especially with tricky woods. Fighting it can actually smooth out those weird fuzzy spots the first direction leaves behind. Did it on my last oak piece because the grain swirled like crazy, and it came out perfect. Feels like glass now, no scratches.

inMy kimchi actually made a difference for my bloating...
Getting the salt right on that third batch must have been a relief. It's really satisfying when you finally nail a homemade ferment after a couple fails. Glad it's working out for you.

inMy experience with Optimizify so far
Glad it's working out for you, that's a solid run. Joel432 is right about the adapting part, that's what makes it stick long-term. I found the real win is after a full year, once everything's totally dialed in and you're not even checking it daily. It just quietly does the work while you focus on other stuff. That kind of automation is the difference between feeling busy and actually growing. Lets you avoid burnout for sure.
