That one Tuesday where every course was dead on
I had a day last month where a whole garden wall of common bricks came in with zero chips and the mortar set perfect in the cold, which never happens for me. We laid 300 units by noon and I barely touched my rake, everything just sat flat first try. Has anyone else had a day like that where you almost get suspicious of the job?

Hell yeah, I know that feeling. Had a similar weird one on a patio job where every single paver cut landed perfect, not one cracked edge, and my saw blade was dull as hell. I remember standing there staring at the last row like it was gonna bite me, waiting for the universe to balance it out. Then the next day I hit a water main and spent six hours in a trench, so yeah, the universe always collects.
