Debate: Should we count side gig money in our budget as income or treat it like a bonus?
Last month I made $400 dog-sitting and put it straight into savings, but my friend says that kind of cash should go toward daily expenses instead, so which side is actually smarter for long-term budgeting wins?

Nah I think putting it into savings is actually the smarter move here. Treating it like a bonus keeps you from depending on unpredictable income for your regular bills.
