Finally broke my $50 a week dining out habit after 2 years of trying

So last month I actually stuck to my meal prep plan for the whole 4 weeks straight. I live in Austin and I was blowing like $200 a month just on lunch grabs and random coffee shop trips. I started making big batches of chili and pasta on Sundays, enough for 5 days. Saved $180 in October alone according to my budgeting app. Has anyone else had success with a specific meal prep routine that actually sticks?

Oh man, $200 on random lunch grabs hits different when you actually see it in writing. I tried meal prepping once and ended up eating the same sad chicken and rice for 5 days straight, proud but deeply sad. At least your chili and pasta game sounds way more interesting than my attempt to become a meal prep YouTuber that never happened.

Honestly @wren826, that 5 days of sad chicken and rice hit way too close to home - I've been there and the soul-crushing boredom is real. Your chili and pasta sounds like a massive upgrade from my "eat the same thing until you hate yourself" era.
