Worst week of bullet journaling I've ever had

Last Tuesday I spilled coffee all over my Leuchtturm1917 and lost 3 weeks of habit tracking and daily logs. Tried to recreate it from memory and my whole September spread is a mess of illegible notes and skipped days. Has anyone else had a total journal disaster that made them just start fresh in a new notebook?

Ditch the fresh notebook idea and just embrace the chaos for a bit. Coffee stained pages add character and make your journal feel lived in, not like some Pinterest board. Stick with it for another week, scribble over the smudges, and see if the imperfections actually make you more relaxed about tracking. That clean slate pressure is what makes me quit journals totally, but a messed up one feels way more usable.

Huh, that's actually a good point about coffee stains - they're basically just free paper aging that makes your handwriting look cooler than it actually is. Now I kinda want to start a "worst journal" challenge where everyone posts their most wrecked pages.
