Talked to my uncle in Poland about why they blocked RT news after 2022
He's not some political guy, just a retiree who watches football and fixes old motorcycles. But last week on a video call he told me how his favorite news channel just disappeared one day. No warning, no explanation from the provider. He had to go to a friend's house to even see what was going on. It hit me different because he didn't even seem mad, just confused. Like he figured that's just how things work over there now. Made me realize how easy it is for people to just accept news getting hidden if there's no fuss about it. Has anyone else had a relative from another country tell you about a story getting blocked that you never heard about here?
