Our new inventory system crashed right before the holiday rush
We rolled out a new software platform last Tuesday, and it completely froze when we tried to process a 300-unit order. I had to pull the old paper logs out of a closet and do everything by hand for two days straight. Has anyone else had a major tech rollout blow up like this, and how did you get things back on track?

That's not a crash, that's a full system failure. We learned the hard way to always run the old and new systems side by side for a week. Did your team have a rollback plan ready to go?

Honestly @paul9, I used to think rollback plans were overkill until something like this happened to us. Tbh your side-by-side idea sounds way smarter.
