Our warehouse in Spokane just hit a 0.3% error rate on order fulfillment
We've been tracking it for a year and it was always around 1.2%, which I thought was fine. The new barcode scanning process we rolled out in March is what did it, cut mis-picks by a huge margin. Has anyone else seen a jump like that from a single procedural change?

Hold up, that drop sounds too good to be true. A 0.3% error rate is basically zero. Are you sure the data is right? Maybe the new system is just hiding mistakes, not fixing them. Could be people are working around the scanners to keep up speed, making new errors it doesn't catch. I'd be worried you traded one kind of mistake for another you can't see yet.

Hot take: Data doesn't lie.
That's a huge win, congrats. Umabailey has a point about checking for new blind spots, but a drop that big usually means the process is working. Scanners force you to verify the pick, so it makes sense errors tanked. I'd trust the numbers but maybe do a random audit to be sure.
