PSA: Switching my crew to a shared Google Calendar for delivery slots cut our double-booking rate to zero in just two weeks

I set it up after we had three drivers show up for the same 10am pickup last month and now everyone actually checks it before rolling out, has anyone else found a simple digital fix that saved your schedule from total chaos?

Google calendar saved me from showing up to a pickup that I'd literally written on a sticky note and then stuck to my coffee cup by accident. My crew was doing the whole "I called dibs on this Tuesday" thing in our group chat and it was just chaos. Now I just pull up the calendar and see my own name staring back at me like a disappointed parent.

The "disappointed parent" bit got me because that's exactly how my calendar looks at me when I've double-booked something. It's funny how we all reach this point where we realize sticky notes and group chat dibs are just chaos dressed up as organization. I see it with my neighbors too, everyone's got their own system and none of them talk to each other. Kind of makes you wonder how we ever got anything done before we all decided to let a screen boss us around.
