I used to figure the meeting length was just a culture thing, like ops folks just love to talk. Turns out a single missing number can wreck the whole thing, because everyone keeps circling back trying to figure out the gap instead of moving on. We had the same deal where a stale error rate made one guy spend 40 minutes re-explaining his whole pipeline. Now we put the key numbers in the invite itself and it cut our standup to like 25 minutes.
