Tried using a coax crimper from Harbor Freight on a 50-unit apartment complex last week
First three fittings passed the pull test but the fourth one slipped right off after I ran the line through the wall, so I ended up redoing all the terminations with a Klein tool I borrowed from another guy, anyone else had that cheap tool fail on them mid job?

I got a buddy who swears by Harbor Freight tools for everything, but I told him after that coax crimper let me down on a 40-unit complex last spring I wont touch another one. @sage_morgan75, I hear you on the die alignment, but I think the real problem is the metal quality in those cheap crimpers. The frame flexes just a little when you squeeze, so the pressure is never even across the whole connector. That fourth fitting that slipped on the original post is classic for that issue, not just a bad alignment you can fix. I have seen guys waste hours trying to tweak them, and it always ends the same way with a call back.

Have you checked the die alignment on those Harbor Freight crimpers? I've seen them pinch unevenly, which makes the connection look good at first but fail under tension.
