My old sleeping bag hit 150 nights and I'm shocked it's still warm

I kept a log in the back of my field guide and just tallied it up. The fill is totally flat in spots, but it still got me through a 28-degree night in the Adirondacks last fall. Has anyone else pushed a piece of gear way past its supposed lifespan?

150 nights" sounds like your sleeping bag is just stubbornly refusing to admit it's retired.

Ha, that's awesome. My old rain jacket is like that, it's basically a fancy trash bag now but I can't quit it. Riverhill is right though, some gear just has too much pride to die.
