Got a formal warning at my old job in Denver for mentioning our office coffee tasted like dirt water
I sent a message in the work chat saying we should spend some of the budget on better beans instead of the cheap stuff. My manager pulled me aside and said it was 'negative' and 'not constructive'. It was just coffee, but they acted like I insulted the CEO. Has anyone else gotten in trouble for something that small at work?

Oh man, that's wild! I once got a talking-to for saying the free snacks were always stale. They said it hurt "team morale" to point out the obvious.
