My boss made me delete a post that criticized our safety training
Last Tuesday in Columbus, I had to choose between keeping my job or telling the truth about the 20 minute video we watch every year, and I deleted the post, but now two guys in my crew are asking if I actually believe what I wrote.

Stare at that 20 minute video all you want, it's not gonna grow a spine for you. Sounds like your boss is more scared of a few honest words than he is of an actual safety incident. Tell the guys you believe in whatever keeps the paycheck coming, but we both know the real issue is who's signing the checks. Next year, maybe suggest they make the video 25 minutes long with a segment on how to delete your own posts without crying about it. Classic corporate move, make the training boring enough that nobody wants to talk about it anyway.
