Thought my dad was crazy about haggling at flea markets but he was right

I always rolled my eyes when my dad would haggle over $3 at the flea market near Buffalo. Last weekend I saw the same table selling a tool set for $20 and after some back and forth I got it for $12. Has anyone else found that bargaining actually works more than you'd expect?

fr fr, our parents knew what they were talking about i swear. i used to get so embarrassed when my mom would negotiate at swap meets but now im the one doing it too lol
