Volunteer coordinator glared when I suggested a better donation system
I thought making it easier would help more people, but she said it wasn't my place to comment. So much for community input.

I volunteered at a church thrift store once and they had a super old cash register system. Trying to update it was way harder than just suggesting it, maybe that's similar here. Idk, just my two cents.

At the community center where I help out, we still use paper forms for donations. Is a glare really such a big deal? She might have reasons for sticking to the old system. @cole_lee9's story about the church thrift store shows how hard changes can be. Why make a fuss over one negative reaction when the goal is to help?
