inSerious question, how do you pick a builder when you're not from the area?
Drive around the neighborhoods you like and look for active construction sites. A clean job site with organized materials often means a careful crew. Knock on the door of the house next door and ask the owners what they've seen, good or bad. People are usually pretty honest when they've been living next to the noise and mess for months.

inJust realized something after seeing a protest at my old college in Madison last week
You're right, Logan. I saw a protest last week about some new bike lane rules, and it turned into a huge shouting match. People were so angry over where to park a bicycle.

inI used to hand-write every single delivery tag for my shop in Albany, now I just print them and it saves me an hour a day.
Wow, I was totally against printing labels for the longest time. I thought handwritten ones looked more personal and special for my little craft shop. But seeing you get an hour back every single day? That's huge. I might actually try it now, because that time could go into making more products instead.

inMy sister told me to skip the fancy monthly spreads and just use a daily log for a solid month, and honestly, it fixed everything.
My bullet journal has three pages of color coded key symbols I never look at. @iris_adams is totally right, it's a trap. I see this with kitchen gadgets too, where the fancy air fryer just collects dust because washing all the parts is a chore. The simple stuff you actually reach for every time wins. It's like we get sold on the perfect setup instead of the actual doing.

inVent: I was sharpening my boning knife wrong for years and a customer's comment set me straight
Wait, people actually do that?
