TIL the hard way: knee kicker works better than power stretcher in tight closets

Spent 6 months forcing a power stretcher into every 2x2 closet and fighting wrinkles, then an old guy in Phoenix showed me how a knee kicker with a short nap gives you way more control in those spots. Am I the only one who skipped the basics and paid for it with double the tackstrip time?

Spent 6 months forcing a power stretcher" sounds like most things I do. We always grab the biggest tool for the job when the small one is easier. It's like using a sledgehammer to hang a picture frame, you eventually learn the hard way that the right tool is the one that fits the space, not the one that looks impressive.
