Vent: A mod on Nextdoor removed my post about a pothole and I only figured out why after the 3rd takedown
So I kept posting a pic of this huge pothole on my street in Sacramento and every time it got taken down within an hour. I finally screenshotted the removal notice and compared it to my original post and saw they had flagged a word in my caption as "soliciting services." I had typed "can someone fix this" which apparently reads like I'm hiring, not just complaining. Now I have a folder of 6 screenshots showing the same harmless post vanishing over and over. Does anyone know a board where mods actually explain the removal instead of just nuking it?

Ever try just commenting "wow this pothole is huge" with zero ask attached? Once the mod sees a plain complaint with no request, there's nothing left to tag as hiring.
