Can we talk about how I used to share my protest photos online?
Back in 2020, I'd post full albums from marches in Seattle directly to my main social media. Now, after two permanent bans and one account locked for 'sensitive content,' I only share through encrypted apps with friends. The change happened slowly, but the final straw was a 30-day suspension for a picture of a sign that just said 'Accountability.' Has anyone else had to completely switch how they document things just to avoid being silenced?

That part about the "Accountability" sign getting you suspended really hits home. I read an article last year about a journalist who had her entire archive of protest videos taken down for "violence," even though it was just footage of people singing. It makes you wonder what they're really trying to control.

It's all about controlling the narrative, not the content.
