Shoutout to the $4 bench scraper I bought at a restaurant supply place in Reno

I grabbed a cheap bench scraper at a supply store in Reno about 8 months ago because my old one walked off. Best $4 I have spent in my kitchen, no joke. I use it to scoop up diced onions, scrape my cutting board, cut dough, and even pop stuck food off the flat top. Before that I was using my knife for everything and dulling it way too fast. What cheap tool do you reach for way more than you expected?

Wait, your old one walked off? Like someone took it? That part is wild to me. A $4 tool going missing is one thing, but someone just grabbing your scraper and leaving? I would be way more mad about the weirdness than the money. I have a $3 plastic dough cutter I got at a flea market and I use it for everything, cutting bars, scraping counters, even digging out burned bits from my toaster oven. If that thing ever grew legs I would lose my mind.
