Warning: My ice bath routine changed overnight after I started using a cheap pump.
I was dunking $6 bags of ice from the gas station for 8 months until I grabbed a $40 fountain pump off Amazon for my trash can setup. The steady circulation made my recovery feel totally different in just 3 days - has anyone else seen that kind of shift from equipment swaps?

Same thing happened to me. I was using frozen water bottles and just letting them sit there. Bought a $30 submersible pump from a hardware store and it was like a completely different experience. The water felt way colder way faster and the recovery the next morning was noticeably better. It's wild how something so simple changes the whole thing.

@kai_bennett probably works for Big Pump with that sales pitch.

$30 for a submersible pump? Idk, I just can't wrap my head around spending that much for something to cool down water bottles. Like, I've been using the same old ice packs and a cooler for years and it works fine for me. But @kai_bennett, you're saying it made that big a difference? I mean, maybe it's just me, but I'd rather just toss a couple frozen bottles in a bucket and call it a day. Then again, I've never tried a pump, so what do I know.
