That third month buildup they let sit through two seasons is like scrubbing asphalt. I had a homeowner tell me it took him "about an hour" and I nearly dropped my phone. Fresh creosote is one thing, but that glass-hard crust is pure misery.

the heat is what gets you, not the actual brushing. fresh creosote is way different than that baked on stuff people ignore for months. have you been dealing with a lot of homeowners thinking it's a quick job?
