Unpopular opinion: the old tea house near Chengdu's People's Park beat every fancy spot I've tried since
Back in 2016 I sat in that little place off the park for 4 hours with a 10 yuan cup of jasmine tea and nobody rushed me once. When I went back last spring it was a bubble tea shop with neon signs, so now I hunt for spots that still let you sit and pour your own refills. Where do you all go for that slow tea house feel these days?
