Just wasted $300 on a 'green' crypto project that turned out to be a total scam

I got excited about the promise of funding reforestation, but after a month the website and socials just vanished, so please do your own deep research before putting money into anything online.

What kind of research did you do before you sent the money? Did you check if the team was real, or look for any past projects they did?

You're asking about checking the team and their past work, but sometimes that stuff is all made up too. Fake LinkedIn profiles and stolen project photos are everywhere now. How deep are you supposed to dig before it just feels like paranoia? I sent money based on what looked like real proof, and it was all a show.
