Was never sold on solar credits until I got my August bill down to $12 after net metering kicked in last summer

Now I'm hearing from folks in Arizona that their utility is slashing the buyback rate, so does net metering still make sense long term or is it just a short term win?

Figure out how much power you actually use vs what they pay you for.

I was just reading about how some utilities in California are basically making net metering almost useless now. Seems like it really depends on where you live and how fast the rules change.
