Serious question, was a $340 tapping arm worth it or did I just waste my money?
I run a small shop in Tulsa and got tired of hand tapping 200+ holes a day on 6061 plate, so I dropped around $340 on a used tapping arm off Marketplace. Some days it feels like it paid for itself by lunch, other days the setup eats more time than just chucking a tap in the drill. Anyone else go back and forth on these, or is it just me?

Does it beat a cordless drill with a tapping head though? $340 used is cheap enough that even a few good jobs would cover it.
