Warning: I just blew $250 on a 'universal' tool holder that chattered like crazy on my old Haas VF-2.

The sales rep swore it would work for everything, but it ruined a whole batch of 6061 parts before I had to scrap the job and eat the cost, so what's your go-to brand for solid, no-bullshit holders?

Universal" tools made me a believer in brand-specific holders.

Man, that's a rough way to lose a whole batch. What a waste of time and money. You sticking with Lyndex now or trying something else?

But I've had the opposite luck with generic holders, honestly. @brooke71 might be onto something with sticking to one brand.
