Hot take: I found out the average beginner quits coding after 3 weeks, and the reason is boring
I was reading a survey from Stack Overflow and it said most people who try to learn coding give up in under 3 weeks. That number hit me hard because I did the same thing twice before it finally stuck on my third try. The reason given over and over was not that the material was too hard, it was that people picked a language and then jumped between 4 or 5 different tutorial sites in the same week. I watched a friend do this with Python, he had 6 tabs open, a course on one site, a YouTube playlist on another, and a ebook somewhere else. He never finished a single one and quit after 19 days. So if you are stuck, maybe the issue is not you, it is too many sources at once. Did anyone else bounce around tutorials before something finally clicked?
