Appreciation post: The guy at the Denver shop who still buys single issues
Last week, I saw him grab a stack of floppies while everyone else mocked the format. Three years ago, I'd have agreed, but now I see his point about the ritual. Who else still enjoys the monthly pickup?

That guy is a hero. Everyone else is scrolling on their phones while he's got that new comic smell on his hands. Let them laugh, he's the one with the actual thing, not just another file on a tablet. The ritual is half the fun, walking out of the shop with a stack for the weekend. Bet he doesn't have to worry about a dead battery either.
