I just spent 3 hours trying to find a single panel from an old X-Men comic
I was sure it was from Uncanny X-Men #173, the one where Storm loses her powers... I looked through my whole long box and my digital copies twice. Turns out I was wrong, it was actually from issue #186, a whole year later in the story. I kept getting mixed up because both arcs deal with her adjusting to being without her powers. My friend finally texted me a screenshot to prove it. Has anyone else ever been that stubbornly wrong about where a scene was from?

Oh yeah, I've done that with old Spider-Man books. I swore a fight with the Vulture was in one issue, but it was actually two storylines later. It's crazy how memory blends those details together.
