The door sticker is for hauling groceries, not for sending it into turn one. Guess we all learn that the hard way, took me three track days to figure out air expands when it gets hot.

How were you measuring it out of the bag? If you were just jamming the measuring cup in there and shaking it level, that packs the flour down and you end up with way more per cup than the recipe wants. The spoon and level trick fixed this for me, you fluff it up first, spoon it into the cup, then level it off with a knife. Curious what method you settled on, because 4 batches is a lot of trial and error.
