Dropped $340 on a Kirby Morgan knockoff helmet light, and my $12 backup outlasted it
Bought a cheap aftermarket light for my 37 helmet back in March because I thought I was saving a buck versus the real unit. It flooded on the second dive, a 40 foot job in the Gulf off Galveston, and I lost the whole afternoon drying gear. If you're shopping for lights, just ask what backup guys actually carry. What's your go to when the fancy one dies mid hitch?
