Old supervisor swore by zip ties over clamps, now I see why
Worked a job off Port Fourchon back in March, and my lead kept zip tying hoses to the stage instead of using proper clamps. I thought it was lazy work, but after a 3 day dive on a riser with heavy current, nothing moved an inch. He said, "clamps crack, ties flex," and honestly he was right for that setup. Anyone else got a trick that looked sketchy but saved you in rough conditions?
