Pro tip: the old hand in Morgan City told me to burp my dry suit before every dive, and my ears quit hurting on the second day
I figured it was just an old timer thing, but a quick burp at the surface keeps the suit from squeezing you at depth, which is why my ears were killing me at 60 feet on that pile job near Berwick, so what other small habits did you pick up from the old timers that nobody put in a manual?

Idk man, burping never did squat for my ears at 60 feet.
