PSA: power trowel blades are not a set it and forget it thing

Last month I ran a fresh set of blades for 2 hours on a warehouse slab in Tulsa and still got drag marks because I never checked the wear mid-pour. Three years ago my old boss would swap blades every 1,000 square feet and we never had to burn a second pass. Anyone else skip the mid-job blade check and regret it, or is that just me?
