Spent $800 on a laser screed attachment and it just gathers dust in my trailer.
Everyone on the crew said it would cut our setup time in half for big pours like the warehouse floor we did in Boise, but the learning curve killed our rhythm and we ended up behind. Has anyone else bought a tool that sounded great but just didn't fit how you actually work?

My uncle bought a $600 automatic mortar mixer that sat in his shed for two years. He said it messed up his timing so bad on a brick wall that he went back to doing it by hand the next day. Sometimes the old way just works with your flow.

Yeah @alice242, that "messed up his timing" thing is so real. I see it everywhere now, like when a fancy app just makes a simple task take longer. The flow matters more than the tool sometimes.
