I finally saw how I was arguing about moon landing stuff all wrong...

For years I'd jump into those online debates about the moon landings, ready to fire off my list of 'facts'... mostly stuff I'd heard in a documentary once. Last month, a guy in the comments asked me for the exact source of my claim about the flag waving. I went looking and found the original NASA report explained it perfectly... I'd been using a debunked point as my main evidence for like three years. How do you even start to rebuild your argument when your foundation is that shaky?

That "built a house on sand" line from jade495 is spot on. My uncle tried it and the foundation cracked in two years. Beach houses are a nice dream but a lot of trouble.
